RECONSTITUTION AND CONVENING OF THE LOCAL SPECIAL BODIES (LSBs)
The Local Government Unit of Sudipen headed by Mayor Wendy Joy A. Dengayan convened a Reconstituion and Convening of the LSBs/Joint organizational meeting with the Local Development Council (LDC), Local Health Board (LHB), Local School Board (LScB) and Local Peace and Order Council (LPOC). The activity was facilitated by CSO Desk Officer Edna S. Alvarez, MPDO Susan Natividad and Municipal Local Government Operations Officer (MLGOO) Moises E. Sibayan Jr.
The purpose of the said meeting includes the discussion of the functions of the LSBs, initial exploration of partnerships in local governance and development, the creation of an executive commitees, sectoral and functional committees. This initiative reflects our commitment to participatory governance and community empowerment.
Present during the joint organizational meeting were: All Sangguniang Bayan Members led by VM Ariel L. Adviento, LDC, LHB, LScB, LPOC, all recognized CSOs, member-organization of the Local People’s Council, and other stakeholders who were not accredited as members of the LSBs
