Pre-Budget Hearing cum NEO Plus Executive Briefing and Foundation Meeting
The Local Government Unit of Sudipen headed by Mayor Wendy Joy A. Dengayan conducted pre-budget hearing in preparation for the finalization of Municipal Budget for Fiscal year 2026. The said activity is also in line with Newly Elected Officials Performing Leadership for Uplifting Service (NEO PLUS) Executive Briefing and Foundation Meeting.
The conduct of pre-budget hearing aligns with the administration’s top priority agenda on ensuring a transparent, participatory, effective and efficient government.
Additionally, the Department of the Interior and Local Government’s (DILG) La Union Provincial Office represented by Local Government Operations Officers Rocelyn Charina Flora facilitated the NEO PLUS Executive Briefing, which marked a significant turning point in local leadership by acting as a governance assessment and a strategic planning session for the new administration.
Also present during the briefing are the Sangguniang Bayan Officials headed by VM Ariel L. Adviento, department heads and section heads of the municipality, representatives from the Sudipen PNP led by PCPT Roy K Toyoken Jr., and MLGOO Moises E. Sibayan Jr.
Mayor Weng highlighted the importance of collaborating with the DILG to ensure that governance is in sync, strengthening the LGU’s commitment to work together across various departments and with national agencies for local progress.
