On March 19, the Local Government of Sudipen implements a comprehensive support program by distributing fuel subsidies and cash assistance to 1,230 beneficiaries, including farmers with commercial standing crops, TODA operators, and registered business establishments.
Farmers and TODA operators each received fuel worth ₱1,000, while business establishments were granted cash aid to help offset rising operational costs.
The distribution was organized across multiple venues to ensure accessibility for all beneficiaries:
• Sudipen Municipal Gymnasium (8:00 AM): Barangays Namaltugan, Old Central, Ilocano, Ipet, Turod, and Poblacion
• SF Sur Gymnasium (9:00 AM): Barangays Bigbiga, San Jose, SF Norte, and SF Sur
• Basig Barangay Hall (9:00 AM): Barangay Malico
• Porporiket Barangay Hall (10:00 AM): Barangay Porporiket
• Duplas Gymnasium (10:00 AM): Barangays Bulalaan and Duplas
• Up-Uplas Barangay Hall (11:00 AM): Barangay Up-Uplas
• Castro Gymnasium (1:00 PM): Barangays Castro and Sengngat
The program directly addresses the challenges posed by rising fuel prices, easing the financial burden on sectors vital to the local economy, particularly agriculture, transportation, and small enterprises.
By sustaining livelihoods and supporting essential services, this initiative contributes to community resilience and economic stability.
