LA UNION LGUs SHINE AT THE GALA OF EXCELLENCE IN LOCAL GOVERNANCE 2026!
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) La Union, led by Provincial Director Virgilio P. Sison, CESO V, proudly joined the Gala of Excellence in Local Governance 2026: The ADAC Performance Awards and Balangay Seal of Excellence, organized by DILG Region I and PDEA Region I in celebration of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026.
Held on June 25, 2026, at One Ilocos Sur Hotel, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, the event recognized the unwavering commitment of local government units in advancing effective anti-illegal drug initiatives and promoting safe, resilient, and drug-free communities. The ceremony was graced by DILG Undersecretary Marlo L. Iringan as the Guest of Honor. The activity was led by DILG R1 RD Jonathan Paul M. Leusen Jr., CESO III and PDEA R1 RD Julius M. Paderes, PhD.
