Following the activation of Emergency Preparedness Response protocols in preparation for the onslaught of Typhoon “Betty”
Members of the Monitoring Team of Municipal DRRM Council coordinated with Barangay DRRMCs regarding their preparedness and response.plans at their respective AORs, inspected prepositioned DRRM equipments and supplies and conducted monitoring of water level at the Amburayan River as proactive measures for the anticipated inclement weather.
Based on the latest advisory, Typhoon “Betty” continues to decelerate as it moves North Northwestward over the waters East of Cagayan at 10km/h, with a maximum sustained winds of 155km/h and gustiness of 190km/h.
The public is advised to stay alert, cooperative, and prepared for this weather disturbance. At the same time be updated of weather advisories and follow instructions to ensure safety.
