CAPACITATION ON ANNUAL INVESTMENT PROGRAM (AIP) FORMULATION AND BUDGET PREPARATION

The Local Government Unit of Sudipen, under the leadership of Mayor Wendy Joy A. Dengayan and VM Ariel L. Adviento, actively participated in the Capacitation on Annual Investment Program (AIP) Formulation and Budget Preparation, conducted by the Provincial Government of La Union through the Provincial Budget Office (PBO) and Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO).
The activity aimed to enhance the technical knowledge and competencies of LGU personnel in the areas of development planning and fiscal management. It provided comprehensive guidance on the systematic preparation of the AIP, ensuring that identified programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) are aligned with the municipality’s priorities and long-term development goals.
Moreover, the capacitation emphasized the importance of prudent budgeting, efficient allocation and utilization of resources, and adherence to existing policies and guidelines. It also highlighted the role of transparency, accountability, and participatory governance in the planning and budgeting process.
Through this initiative, the Local Government Unit of Sudipen continues its commitment to delivering responsive, inclusive, and sustainable programs and services that will contribute to the overall growth and development of the municipality.
