PRE-DISASTER RISK ASSESSMENT (PDRA) MEETING
The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (MDRRMC) of Sudipen, under the leadership of Mayor Wendy Joy A. Dengayan, and through the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, Engr. Joey B. Baguitan, conducted a Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) today, September 19, 2025, as part of the proactive preparedness efforts for the possible impacts of Tropical Storm Nando.
The Pre-Disaster Risk Assessment (PDRA) was conducted to evaluate potential hazards, identify vulnerable areas, and ensure that early precautionary measures are implemented. This includes ensuring the readiness of emergency response teams, activating communication protocols, and maintaining close coordination with barangay officials to facilitate timely dissemination of information. This initiative highlights the MDRRMC’s commitment to public safety through enhanced preparedness and risk reduction efforts.
